Just came back from Pengkalan Hulu, Perak which is Christina’s hometown. We (Jeff,Alex,Wendy,Christina & me) went there to celebrate Christina’s birthday and as well as enjoy the sights there. Greenery, lol.. we went there on Thursday morning, where Jeff’s drove them all to my house and he parked his car. Then, i bring them for breakfast, b4 giving ‘breakfast’ for my ‘wife’ at Caltex,Prai…hehe :P I forget the exact time we depart from my house, i just remember the journey from GRIK highway till Pengkalan Hulu, is a boring and long journey. We reached there around lunch time. We went to to her house where she introduced her lovely mother to us. After we take some things down such as the bday cake we bought for her from Secret Receipe, Christina suggested to us that we go to her grandpa’s orchard. Mostly it’s King of Fruit, DURIAN :P

Oh shiet, my ‘wife’ need to struggle the bumpy road all the way to Christina’s grandpa orchard…swt, luckily my car tyre is not new otherwise i’ll be sad, lol…those road dont even have a proper tar road, it’s just small stones with those sands, argh i’m not good at explaining the road type, lol :P We reached her grandpa’s place at around 12 something to 1pm. All of us were very happy to see soooo many Durian trees. The area is sooo big till i dunno where is the end because we didn’t walk till every corner of her grandpa’s orchard, hehe…Maybe it’s the wrong timing or wateva, on that day i’ve got some sore throat, sigh….however i wont missed the chance to try some of the durians, haha :P We opened a few durians and ate them b4 we walked around the orchard to take some photos. Before we went back, Alex suggested to take some of the durians back to Penang, haha…so we took a few, not really much only 5 durians back :( coz my ‘wife’ already placed an 10″ inch sub woofer behind, not much space left plus all the bags to bring home later, hehe …i know 10″ inch sub woofer is not a big deal for any car audio lover, hehe it’s just i took from my previous ‘wife’, Kancil….i dont have much cash to change a bigger sub woofer or car audio stuff, ok back to Pengkalan Hulu, haha :P we left the orchard after we thanked her grandpa for everything.

We reached Christina’s house around 2-3 pm with all our bodies sweating and sticky, lol …coz we went to the orchard right under the sun, so each of us take turns to take our bath. Yeah, indeed it’s a refreshing bath afterall. Since we had our breakfast at nearby my place and durians at her granpa’s orchard, we almost forget that we didn’t had our lunch yet. Since it’s kinda rush for her mom to prepare foods 4 us, her mom suggested that she fried some beehoon for us. Nothing much, just avoid us from being hungry, hehe :) Christina & Jeff went out to nearby mini market to buy the beehoon and things needed. After Alex & me had our bath, we walked our to the nearby mini market to buy playing cards which cost me RM1.80 :( The problems it’s not the price but the card, it seems like not new card, haha bad to say those cards looks more like recycled-cards to me, hahahaha coz using those playing cards not as smooth as we use those new cards, nvm maybe old stock or wateva….

After had our beehoon, all of us take a rest, playing cards b4 end up taking nap. I guessed all of us didn’t sleep enough b4 we went to Christina’s hometown, haha …so we slept till around 5 something. Alex, Wendy & me went in my ‘wife’ move around the area where Jeff & Christina were still sleeping…geez :P Alex wanted to hunt for any nice number new sim pack for Maxis Hotlink but we went to almost phone shop at the area, mostly selling only x-pack sim pack from Celcom, yeah i forget to said that the area dont have coverage for DiGi, too bad, my parents cant contacted me to even know whether i reached there safely or not. Alex even suggested that we went to Thailand, lol …the journey to Thailand was around 7km, i drove till the border but the parking guy told us the duty free complex gonna close at 6pm, the time at that time was 5.45pm. If we parked the car and started to walk there and choosing some items, sure not enough time to buy :( So, we U-turn abd went back. B4 we went back Christina’s house, we dropped by at Petronas petrol station to buy some soft drinks for tonight steambot :)

Around 6 something pm, we had our steamboat and Christina’s bday cake cutting ceremony :P Yeah, the dinner time is kinda early coz her mom have appointment for badminton around 8pm, so we had to have dinner earlier. The steambot was nice, all of us was full. We continue playing cards till at night b4 we went for hot spring at Pusat Rekreasi Air Panas, Ulu Legong, Baling, Kedah….yeah, from it’s a looooong journey from Pengkalan Hulu, Perak to the area. It’s cool and luckily i didn’t missed the chance to try out the hot water. Even though i’m the type that didn’t swim…i still went down with the rest of us and relaxed ourselves.

We left the place around 12 something midnite. Everyone of us were tired, after a loooooong day. We went back to Christina’s house to sent her brother home 1st b4 we went our for our supper. Her lil brother had to went to skool early 2molo, so we didn’t want to make her mom worry about her lil bro :P After supper, we went back home and rest. Aww….whole day driving and all of them didn’t allow me to sleep yet, gosh…..bullied by them, lol They didn’t want to switch off the lights yet, causing me cant get to sleep and the air con preventing me to sleep as well. In addition to my sore throat, i got running nose as well, bad sick person but when i tried to sleep, i touched my forehead, oh nooo i could feel the heat of my body. I got fever, sad…i took some panadols and try to sleep.

Despite that i’m a sick person, they didn’t even let me sleep early, haha….dammit :( All of us were too tired to play cards, so we just lay down on beds, chatting & blah….blah. Around 3 something, only everybody started to sleep. But i could still the heat of my body, those panadols were useless. Christina went and get some better medicine from her mom, soo nice :) I took 1 pill which i dunno wat’s the name, lol…All i knew is that pill makes my body feel better. No longer hot anymore, but dammit….i started to feel cold, from the air con where they set to 16 degress, the lowest temperature :( I hardly get to sleep till around early morning 6 something. I went out to toilet but end up realise that the toilet is occupied by sum1, so i waited outside and sat at kitchen. Her mom came out from toilet and asked how’s i’m feeling ? She can hear me sneezing so she offered me the medicine for running nose, soo nice :) She also gave me another 1 more pill for my fever, after taking the medicine, i slept till the next day.

Around 10 something am, Christina woke me up where i could see the rest also already woke up in the room. I guessed everyone have a nice sleep :) Today suppose we went to Thailand, but all of us woke up quite late. It seems that her mom couldn’t bring all of use go without temporary pass. But after we all took turns and bath to get ready, already lunch time. So we need to wait till 3pm for the office to re-open after lunch hour plus Muslim prayers for every Friday. Luckily Christina’s mom knew 1 sarjan or inspector or wateva, he could bring us in Thailand without any pass, cool isn’t it ? Haha…however 4 of them have to squeeze behing coz the guy need to drove my car and i’ll be sitting next to him. As we past through the Malaysia-Thailand border, all he did was just waiving his hand as signals and spoke a few words to those officers and we’re in Thailand.

Welcome to Thailand :P The area we went in Thailand i think was called as Betong if i’m not mistaken. The sarjan guy drove us and dropped us nearby to buy items such as snacks and some medicine oil :) After we bought everything, Christina asked whether the sarjan guy could drove us to some nice place, thanks to him, he drove us to Thailand hot spring, haha again hot spring, i wonder why the area between Kedah-Perak-Thailand is so popular with hot spring, hehe :P We took some photos and headed back to Malaysia. B4 we went back, we stopped at 7-11 where Alex recommended to us the Ice Chocolate which is sooo nice. He told us that everytime he’s in Thailand either with family or friends, he’ll sure bought the chocolate and drank it :P

When we reached Malaysia, we thanked the sarjan guy and i drove back to Christina’s house. All of us started to pack up, it’s already 3pm, without wasting times, we thanked her mom as well b4 we left for Penang. We reached my house around 5 something pm. Alex & me watched Naruto episode 134 while the rest watching Astro & lazing around coz i told them to wait for dinner b4 they went back. After i took them for dinner, they went back to Penang. I’m tired since i’m driving all the way for 2 days, i took a nap after bath….and wake up at this time to blog :)

I’ll edit the pictures b4 upload to my gallery later. Before i end this post, i realise the time already past midnite and it’s 14th, Happy Birthday to Ben & Christina :)
