Since I’m staying at Butterworth and was once a MapleSea player, therefore I’ll bring you this news – MapleSEA U in Penang.
(sorry for late announcement, anyway not yet the event date, still ok :D)

Actually I went to the event at FTZ Asia Net on Sunday afternoon, LOL :D That’s y wanna update this post otherwise I thought nothing to update. That afternoon after lunch I actually kinda lazy want to for the event. But my brother bugging me to go, finally we went to the internet cafe.

Because I’m playing my characters in Aquila, so according to the time slot given, for Aquila player the event time is from 4 pm to 5.30 pm. For registration and verification, players need to arrive 30 minutes before the event time. My brother and I reached there at about 3.35pm. When I’m inside the cafe, there’s a lot of Asiasoft and FTZ Asia Net staffs. One guy approached and asked me whether am I MapleSEA player ? I replied yes and he show me the way to the counter for registration and verification process.

Image above combines 3 things; 1-postcard, 2-my sticker number, 3-3 slips of “surprise a-cash item”. Lazy to take so many pictures, so all put inside 1 picture, keke :D

The girl at the counter asked my IC for verification, stick a sticker with “A137″ written on it and gave me a maple postcard as show above inside the picture. I guess by the code A in front of the number stands for Aquila and the number behind identify the computer’s number I suppose to go to. The girl at the counter told me to go to the computer first and said that she will return the IC later.

Later on, another girl guide me to the computer I suppose to sit which is number 137. She explained to me to login my character and go to channel 20 at Lith Harbour(map inside MapleStory game) to wait for the event at 4 pm. Okay, to make it more brief, the event is divided to 4 stages, and 15 minutes time is given to all the 4 stages which means each stage you got about 3.75 minutes!!

Sad to say that I failed the event!!! GOSH ~~ those event is jumping event, KoDoMo is good at this, i’m sucky man…zzz. My character fell down on 4th stage and left 2 minutes ++ sigh already not enuff to re-climb for 4th stage. At this time, a girl came to our place to return our IC and gave each of us 3 slips of papers with 30 digits numbers plus alphabets which is surprise in game cash item. Anyway, after the event finish, all players went out of the event map and gather at Lith Harbour. Few minutes later, the GMs (GM = GameMaster) summoned lots of high level monster, by lots i really mean A LOTS!! Take a look at the picture below:-

Can you count how many Jr Balrog and Bain inside this picture ? LOL :D Btw this is not my comp, I’ve lagged out then I walked around see other high level players perform, keke.

Although how high level you are, you can easily die unless you’re Dragon Knight + Priest party. Since the map have too many monster and too many players, it become LAG!! Every player need to spam pot a lot and hope don’t lag out, haha. For those low level like me, don’t bother waste ur pots or experience try to kill, sure die each time even after respawn. :D I saw there’s a high level DK, claimed to be the highest level at the cyber cafe at the moment, his level is 169. I think I believe that, hehe. For level 150 and above not easy to achieve.

One thing you can see if you join these event at the cyber cafe selected is you can see quite a number of real life leng lui girl players, hehe. Not all girl characters in game is claimed to be guys okay ? GIRL = Guy In Real Life, that what’s most people think but this is a wrong thinking. Haha~ I can see few girl characters is a REAL girl and high level sumore…swt. ALl of them level is 3 digits and above which means 10x and above, lol.

Wah this suppose not to be so long post~ swt. Okay, continue….about 5pm, there’s a Asiasoft guy talking on the microphone asking every player to log off their characters safely and gather around the counter for lucky draw sessions. Those high level players enjoying killing those high level monster, didn’t want to log off yet. Then the guy on microphone say something funny, he said “Those who don’t want to log off yet, I’ll call the GM to ban and kick you out of the game!!” I can see a few peoples laugh after hearing this, LOL :D

I would like to say something which make me understand that my bad luck never ends yet ~~ If you wondering what bad luck I’m talking about, you can read more about my bad luck at my archives. Why I said like that ? BECAUSE 2 GUYS EACH SITTING NEXT AT MY LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE WIN SOME PRIZE FROM LUCKY DRAW!! I can’t believe that, OMFG ~ How can that be so coincidence ? Wahraooo damm unlucky le, trust me I’m not complaining not winning anything but if 1 of the guy sit next to me win lucky draw nevermind but BOTH SIDE haiz. Dunno wat else to say, lol.

After lucky draw there’s a light tea buffet outside. That’s all for the day, anyway I enjoy my first time attending such game events although I know there’s not so many people if the event is organized at KL or SG. I got record 2 videos with my Motorola E398 phone, lousy quality and it’s in mp4 format. So, download and watch it if you want.
