kahpeng@Australia – The Return of BIG Chicken Thigh!

Remember my post earlier about “Have you seen this BIG chicken thigh ?” Haha, enough said in the title of this post. Yeah, it’s true that this will be another post about BIG CHICKEN THIGH =P Take a look at the chicken thighs above, 4 pieces is enough to cover up a frying pan, LOL. But that’s not yet the main point, the real thing that bothers me is …
Wondering what is so special about the chicken thigh ? Bonus photo of Bangladeshi Curry Chicken below!

THE CHICKEN THIGH IS DAMM HEAVY!!

We, (Desmond, KoDoMo and I) share buy the chickens but that time we bought 4kg of chicken thigh, 2kg each pack. This pack I didn’t open before therefore I don’t know how many pieces of chicken inside. When I defrost the chickens, I saw so many 4 pieces chicken thigh ONLY! Take a look at the label picture above.
Can you imagine 1 piece of chicken thigh is 0.5kg weight ?
Sigh, BIG pieces of chicken thigh is not a good thing, you want to know why? Because the BIG/heavier they are, the more FATS with the chickens!! Normally we bought a piece of chicken thigh between $0.40-$50 but lately the price of chicken thigh has increase by $0.50 per kilo. But that’s not all, if you notice the price per kilo inside the price tag is $2.49 which means that time we bought this chicken thigh is before the price increase!!
1 piece of chicken thigh = 0.5kg = $1.25 (It’s not cheap anymore !!)
Anyway, here’s a bonus picture of my latest curry receipe, it’s a Bangladeshi Curry Chicken. Why do I say it’s a Bangladeshi Curry Chicken ? The reaason is because I learned this curry chicken receipe from my another housemate from Bangladesh. =P

Maybe from the picture, you can’t see what’s the different, you’ll know when you taste it =D I can explain in the ingredient (spices) wise but it’ll makes people blur only, dunno what’s the spices for, right ? :D
