There was like about two to three weeks I ate tomatoes until I’m afraid of the taste and smell. Scary or not ? Believe me, no matter how great tomato eater you are, if you work in tomato farm where you can get lots and lots of tomatoes to eat, you will give up eating tomatoes for sometime.

Remember I said something earlier when I post about broccolini ? I said that, if you work at any farm, you can get the harvest for free. That post was about broccolini, this post is about tomatoes. Short details about how am I being paid for the tomato picking job. I will be paid $9.8 for 1 bucket of cherry tomatoes and $12 for 1 bucket of grape tomatoes.

However, when it’s time to go home and the last bucket you picked is not full, the farm owner, Damien will measure according to a quarter, half and three quarter buckets. If the amount of tomatoes in your bucket less than a quarter bucket, he will ask you to pour the remaining tomatoes into the truck and it’s not counted as your pay or you can bring it home and eat yourself.

Therefore, sometimes I feel if I were to pour away the tomatoes I picked and not getting paid, why not I eat myself at home ? Anyway, sometimes I don’t care if it’s a quarter or not, I just take home whenever I feel I like to eat. One thing that I want to say is the last time I went to Cameron Highlands with my family, I ate cherry tomatoes but it’s not as much as I ate now! Haha…
