Ipoh Aun Kheng Lim Salted Chicken

 Last week, 19th June, my elder bro went to Ipoh for business purpose. On the way back, he bought 4 birds of salted chicken from Aun Kheng Lim. This is my second time to eat these type of salted chickens. He did brought back salted chickens last time he went to Ipoh.

I never been to the place before, however he said many people from other states bought the chickens to bring back their hometown. Normally, they will buy 4 or 6  birds of the salted chickens. I was shocked when he say those people buy like the chicken’s are cheap but it’s not. They are selling RM16 per bird. Each chicken’s size is small only because they use only ‘ayam kampung’ which means those chickens are not the chicken with more meat for sale in market. These kind of chicken is those skinny type and less fats. :D

 See ? There’s even an instruction for you to do before serving the chicken. The chicken inside the box is wrapped with a piece of paper( I am not sure what type of paper). The salted chicken have to be re-heated inside and steaming boiled water. I am sorry because forget to take the picture of the chickens when the chickens are served.
