Recently last month, I apologize for lack of updates mainly due to errors in my Wordpress. These few days, since I’m not working due to bad weather condition, therefore I spend some time trying to fix my problems. Earlier I already fix my first problem which is Search issue and I already integrate Google Custom Search into my site, nicely blend with the theme.

Today, I try to manual upgrade my wordpress to version 2.3.3 because Fantastisco latest available version to upgrade also version 2.3.2 only. Anyway, more problems and headache I’m facing. I accidentally deleted “wp-config.php” file and I lost the password for my DB username because my site was installed using Fantastisco long time ago and the password for the DB username was auto-generated with random characters and numbers such as “a1u4trxy” (something like that).

My first headache when I tried to run upgrade command (/wp-admin/upgrade.php) I’m getting database connection error. Because I’m lazy to download my last previous full backup for my Wordpress which has about more than 40MB size, I create a new DB user and add to my Wordpress database table.

I am not sure my readers might notice or not but actually my this site is having problems lately. This is also the main reason (50%) why I didn’t update my blog for about 1 week. My site Wordpress seems going wrong, I have to figure out what’s wrong. If anyone of you good in Wordpress CMS editing, feel free to contact me to help me out.

Problems that I’m facing now:

• Feed: My site feed is not working properly and I don’t know why.
• Search: I tried using Nice Search plugin but it seems that there’s some code that clash with my default theme search form.
• Visual Editor: My wordpress rich text editor is not working although is enabled!
• EVERYTHING GOES BLANK! - Whenever I edit post/comment/plugins/anything and everything, the next page I’ll see is BLANK page, but if I press my browser back button, and refresh, the action that I selected is done actually, for example, if I activate a plugin, when I see the next page blank and when I press Back button in my browser and Refresh the page, I see the plugin is already Activated.

I guess this time will the quite major problems for my site after so long. Anyone having the same problems as me ? I’m not sure is it because of my Wordpress theme or the main Wordpress files are corrupted ? Please give me some feedbacks. Now I’m working daytime under hot sun in farm during summer at Australia, normally weekdays I don’t spend much time for my site trial/error thing. I hope I can solve all these problems as soon as possible but I’m having 1 exam on the 4th next month. I have to concentrate on my studies.
