[Update] Official launch date for Firefox 3 confirmed on June 17, 2008.

So, what is it all about Firefox 3 Download Day 2008? The developer for Firefox is going to set a Guiness World Record for the most downloaded software in 24 hours and they’re asking you to join them! Anyway, the official date for the launch of Firefox 3 is not yet confirm and will be posted at Spread Firefox | Download Day 2008.

Getting Involved

What you can do at the moment? There’s 5 different ways you can get involved (source):-

• Plan a Download Fest in your school or office. You can get together during your lunch hour or break to download Firefox 3.

• Join one of the following social networking groups and then invite all your friends.

• Become a Firefox Campus Rep and collect pledges from fellow students.
