GrabMyAds – The third blog advertising in Malaysia?
Recently I read from CypherHackz about this new blog advertising company started in Malaysia after Nuffnang and Advertlets. It seems that more people trying to start blog advertising nowadays huh? =P But as ahpek said in his post, something catch my attention for GrabMyAds, there is no fixed amount for every ads, so ahpek summarize GradMyAds pay what they like!
Okay, let’s jump to the point. The purpose of this post is I want to highlight that GradMyAds company didn’t properly manage their site before release as beta to the public. Can you notice what is the different in the image above ?

Cant think of anything ? Let me tell you, if you want to sign up with GrabMyAds, you’ll notice that when you choose the option for your country, you will see the drop down box. So, what is so big deal about the country option ? Can someone fcuking notice that they can make such not user friendly sign up form ? The countries listed are not in fcuking order at all! Somebody please teach the peoples at GrabMyAds alphabetical order ? A, B, C and so on ?
If the people working at GrabMyAds are lazy, they can go and copy and paste someone else sign up form, where they have a list of countries as well, do I need to give this tips ? =D The image below is just a snippet codes for the countries listed from KYRGYZSTAN to LUXEMBOURG as you see in the image above earlier.
They are a lot mess in the country listing, the screenshot I take and show above just one part of it. See below-
- Country names start with COSTA RICA, then next is SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO and back to CUBA ? C, S, C ?
- How about … CZECH REPUBLIC, then GERMANY and back to DJIBOUTI ? C, G, D ?
- Erm … and this DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, then ALGERIA and back to ECUADOR ? D, A, E ?
- A lot of bullshits … last one from the image above … EGYPT, WESTERN SAHARA, ERITREA and back to SPAIN ? E, W, E, S ? Wow, good way to confuse people =D

Another thing is, will peoples in other country join this advertising program? I don’t think so because the cheque that will be sent is using Ringgit Malaysia currency and will GMA send the cheque to them?
And is the advertisement will be displayed on non-Malaysian websites? The advertisement suppose to have only Malaysia ads right? Ho3. Anyway, thanks for the linkback.
CypherHackz : Yeah, maybe they just want to follow Nuffnang and Adverlets, Malaysia then expand to Singapore ? =D Who knows ?

Curt Ooi : I do not mean any harm to GrabMyAds but the country option listing really not user friendly, and I don’t understand why this basic html problem will appear.
Anyway, good to see that you already fix the problem. You need bloggers feedback to improve right ? =P

Those Country option list is dynamic call from a table from databases, we already code in in ASC. Anyway, we already fix it, i would like to thank you for your post.
