Going Pink For October 2008
Are you going pink for October ? Right now, I am in the process to edit this site CSS stylesheet and changing some main colors to pink. Some images might still in the editing process to be in pink color, be patient and the site transformation will be complete soon :D
Happy New Year 2007 to all my blog readers. Some advise to those people want to go out for new year eve celebration:-
For Penang only:-
Traffic Information:
1) To avoid massive jams at ferry terminal or Penang Bridge, please leave your house earlier than expected. Always estimate a few hours ahead of ur appointment time. For example for the Christmas eve on this year, it tooks me more than 2 hours to reach Gurney Plaza doesn’t matter you use ferry or the bridge.
2) TheStar newspaper 30th Dec (sorry, i can’t find in TheStar online) stated that Gurney Drive will be closed starting from 4pm.
3) Again TheStar newspaper 30th Dec shows that the police will be having road blocks at ferry terminal and penang bridge to reduce illegal racers from entering the island. So, try your best to avoid the blocks =p For those peoples’ cars been through some modification such as dark tinted window films, big spoilers and so on which you think might against the law, i advise you to drive ur alternative vehicle such as motorcycle or car to save time from the trouble because i’m sure there’ll be lots of road blocks.

” Branding illegal racers as Mat Rempit has emboldened them to carry out their activities, said North Seberang Prai district OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdullah Tuanku Said. ” - Quoted from Don’t glorify Mat Rempit.
This is another update from my post last time about “Say NO to Mat Rempit“.Yesterday, as reported over TheStar newspaper and online, North Seberang Prai district OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdullah Tuanku finally come up with something more ‘logic’. He discourage the public to brand those illegal racers as Mat Rempit as this makes them feel more inferior and encourage them to continue with their activities. However, there’s some people that like to rebrand the Mat Rempit as well to Mat Cemerlang. I just realised lately there’s even a petition to demolish Mat Rempit in Malaysia. Anyway, you can read more updates and news about Mat Rempit here.
Conclusion,
1) STOP branding them Mat Rempit or Mat Cemerlang,
2) DO more action such as road blocks and make sure all those illegal racers is out of the road!!
3) and finally STOP thinking of nonsense stuff such as proposal of building tracks for illegal racers ? By giving track to illegal racers will NOT reduce the illegal racers BUT this approach will show that the government is ENCOURAGING them!! Or by engaging those illegal racers to activites to help them change their habits. Reminder to all, once an illegal racer, forever they are illegal racers. STOP wasting tax payers money to such nonsense and put into other things that are more useful.
