Mat Rempit: Don’t Glorify Them!!

” Branding illegal racers as Mat Rempit has emboldened them to carry out their activities, said North Seberang Prai district OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdullah Tuanku Said. ” - Quoted from Don’t glorify Mat Rempit.
This is another update from my post last time about “Say NO to Mat Rempit“.Yesterday, as reported over TheStar newspaper and online, North Seberang Prai district OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdullah Tuanku finally come up with something more ‘logic’. He discourage the public to brand those illegal racers as Mat Rempit as this makes them feel more inferior and encourage them to continue with their activities. However, there’s some people that like to rebrand the Mat Rempit as well to Mat Cemerlang. I just realised lately there’s even a petition to demolish Mat Rempit in Malaysia. Anyway, you can read more updates and news about Mat Rempit here.
Conclusion,
1) STOP branding them Mat Rempit or Mat Cemerlang,
2) DO more action such as road blocks and make sure all those illegal racers is out of the road!!
3) and finally STOP thinking of nonsense stuff such as proposal of building tracks for illegal racers ? By giving track to illegal racers will NOT reduce the illegal racers BUT this approach will show that the government is ENCOURAGING them!! Or by engaging those illegal racers to activites to help them change their habits. Reminder to all, once an illegal racer, forever they are illegal racers. STOP wasting tax payers money to such nonsense and put into other things that are more useful.

if government provide free track to us,of coz we will not “playing our game” on the road and be dangerous to the road user!!!one more thing,we know every society think that we are the blacksheep of our country but actually we can change our attitude but we need some space to show our skill…only malaysia have mat rempit!!don’t label us as mat rempit bcoz we also don’t like that name…..
dear along_rempit.
u dun like like the name ‘rempit’ but u seem to have a nick that sounds. this is not an issue of building tracks , ‘playing game on road’ ,blacksheep of the country. pls cut the crap. the bottom line is there is rule and regulation that need to be followed in order to maintain peace and harmony in the country. u brake the rule….u pay the consequences. u drive recklessly on the road u will be fined. u race on the road u may be cought. u pose danger to other innocent member on the road u may be jailed . simple…no arguments….no excuse.
